Welcome to our pepper seed ordering page.
You are viewing the seeds from the peppers we grow in our garden. These are from the 2008 growing season and are ready for planting for the 2009 season. We are not a professional nursery, but we've been making our own brand of hot sauces for over 10 years so we know what we're doing around a pepper garden. There are no less than 20 seeds per packet, but we're selling them as a packet of 20. We cannot guarantee that you'll be able to grow all the seeds and we won't delude you with a false germination percentage that no one can truly give. How you grow them is what matters and will better determine a higher germination ratio. Most hot peppers like to have a soil temperature of 75-85 degrees for proper sprouting. Some pepper seeds take as little as 5 days to sprout while others can take 60 days or more to do so.
We can tell you that these are seeds from plants that we grow year after year because we use them in our own brands of hot sauces so we rely on them. We manage a good 75%+ successful seedlings out of them. The pictures of the peppers are the actual peppers from our garden that the seeds were taken from. We've been using them for quite sometime year after year so they are proven growers. Sometimes some do better than others but as a general rule they all do well. We may have lost our Hungarian Black Peppers this year as none have germinated yet-Bummer. The rest of our peppers are cranking out again and have done so year after year.
Here are our pictures from this year's germination and planting. These plants are about 14 days old (Click to enlarge)

Here are the seeds that we have available for the 2009 growing season. All seeds were harvest from the plants grown in our garden and come in packets of 20 or more seeds unless otherwise noted. Most of the pepper types have a link with more information. Those will be highlighted and will open up an information page on the pepper.
Please bear with us as this may take a little while to complete and we just started this page on this site. Most of our seeds are already sold this year and it may look like a ghost town down below, but we still have a lot of good ones available.
If a pepper is marked as SOLD OUT, we don't have any more seeds left for the season. Peppers marked N/A are not available for the 2009 season and may be discontinued but still have the information listed for your benefit. For further information about the pepper, click on the name and it will open our pepper database and jump to the pepper you clicked on.
